It's like doing a hooker with aids, you know that you may get lucky because of the condom, but why take the chance?

It's also like dealing with JGY, you might get lucky, but why take the chance.

If a company is known to make crappy products, why even bother.

1. Nice analogy, haha

2. Don't get me started on JGY

3. Haven't had a crappy one yet

Your missing the point. A manifold is not suppose to break off at the flange. That's a clear case of metal not been able to stand up to the heat. The problem the guy that I know has is that he is a cheap bastard. His car runs low 11's and he won't spend the money for a good manifold. He doesn't daily drive the car either.

I get the point. However, from what I've seen it's based on everything BUT the manifold. Mostly from vibration fatigue more than heat and heat cycling. Any manifold will break no matter how "good" it is based on everything else around it. If you have a money manifold and a 14foot exhaust bolted to it with shatty stock hangers with no flex joint, some **** is going to break.

I don't know man, I don't love the things, I don't sell them or anything, but for most of the people out there you will not have any issues. I've put over 100K miles total on 3 manifolds with absolutly zero issues. Including drift, mild antilag, and 320rwhp.

Enough rant, this is about ssac turbos anyways, right?

The OLD housings were glued together. They rarely are anymore, and you can usually tell by the pictures.

Also, a lot of these Chinese turbos use Master Power center cartridges, which are pretty decent. In fact, I know of some very fast mustangs running Chinese turbos for a while now.

Also, we installed a supposedly "T70" (it's a "small" T70, but it's still a big ass turbo) on my buddy's 280z almost 6 months ago and it's still running strong! 300hp+ on a budget!

wait till the supply of REAL researched and developed parts for your car run out. then what? laugh at yourself because people like you destroyed the automotive industry.

who will the chinese copy when there is no more turbonetics or garrett? who will BC copy when there is no more JWT? has ssac come out with a new header since hotshot went out of business?
