Sorry i wasnt trying to clutter the tread only clear up what half of the arguing was about. In the end its up to whoever is buying/installing the parts to figure out what they want to do with their car.

in regards to your comment about ben, not choosing sides, some things you really cant screw up on, ie an intercooler.

they're pretty simple bar and plate designs, the more surface area the more drag but the more cooling. draw your lines on a graph and pick what suites you best or what is the most efficient and there you have it.

now on something like a turbocharger which is a PRECISION part, of course (and i see that you agree) it's really easy to screw up especially if the QC sucks and the laborers are half assing their products to minimize costs.

now obviously the manifold seems to be the part that is causing the controversy. i see a log manifold as something you really cant screw up with. if you build a log manifold that falls apart then you suck!!! (i'm about to build a log manifold for my friends truck and if it fails i will most likely tie a chain to it and throw it into the ocean, myself attached ) a tubular manifold on the other hand is much more complex and aside from being equal length, they normally have a lot more places that need to be precision fit and welded = more room for error. you place a task with lots of room for error in the hands of a "china" type manufacturer and it's a recipe for disaster. heat fatigue is no joke!

and volks are the shi t so obviously you are tasteful
