Another thing that I should mention about the whole W10-W11 deal, W11's stock boost level is 9PSI.

Proof:

aha! so it's true that the reason the W11 makes more hp is because of higher stock boost. I think the W10 was 7psi.

I think it depends how the car is setup. I have seen 9psi with a stock bluebird gate. I think you will come across this fact a bit on the old board too.

If there is a small or restrictive exhaust on the car that can act as a boost controller and lower peak boost, maybe that is the case in point. Ball bearing turbos will have better performance in general too.

Please ask this in the General Turbo section via new thread, no need to clutter this thread up

So it seems like the High port W11 takes the same oil filters that low ports take.

I've been using a ST6607 filter, Walmart brand, for my low port for about a year now, so I had some left over after engine swap and have been temporarly running them on my W11 (because I'm still doing frequent oil changes).

Well today I found out that high ports have different size/threaded oil filters and picked one up today STP S4967.

I spent about 5 minutes trying to thread it on and nothing. I measured the thread size, and it seems like my low port block and W11 block have the same thread size.

My stock bluebird gate sees 10psi.
