crashing at any speed over 100 would be messy, haha, hell i was trapping over 110mph in just 1/4 mile. it only took a little bit longer to hit that rev limiter in 5th

The fastest I have gone in any of my cars was 164mph... it was stable and felt great...

My car will have over 500 hp and 225/50/15 tires so I will be able to go fast without an issue but that isn't my thing. I just want to run a low 10 high 9 1/4 mile over 130mph.

What are you guys using to measure speeds once there?

Even calculating by RPM will be off at that point. I know mine is off by about 400 RPM once I go above 7k RPM.

Anyone use a GPS? I personally have gone to a maximum of 195 km/h (or 121 mph) as per my GPS, but that was all the circuit would allow me to go to (the VE still had lots of acceleration in it), and the speedo was displaying more (but has no memory, so that was just me taking a glimpse before hitting the brakes). Perhaps I am getting old, but I would never go any close to that on public roads

Oh, and even at 120, the car felt unstable as hell and was somewhat "jumping" up and down, but that was because I was picking up rubber on the track with the race tires

gtir setup at 17 psi on my old ser.....racing a ls1 camaro on the interstate. YEAH i did it on a main road, i was young and stupid. nobody around though, like 2 in the morning. completley burried the speedo, guy in the camaro afterwards said we was doing over 160. problem with the car in my opinion is areodynamics. agreed, these cars on boost are nuts.

lol, yeah im going turbo again, so what, but i will have a daily this time and the ve should be more than safe at only 10psi but all while making 300whp or darn close or more with a nice long power band, hell yeah its gonna be quicker than it was for sure.

Ashton lol you need to stick with N/A! Everytime you made a thread about something you were going to do you broke something lol. Turbo just isnt for you!

crzNX2000- the NX is actually pretty aerodynamic minus the head lights lol. I pegged the speedo that one time and will probably never do it again though. But you just have to see what the car can do sometimes.
