Thinkin about boostin the RR
Im not in any way new to the forums, just weighing my options on where i want to take my project. I have a 96 200sx with a RR SR. I know its got the higher 10:1 CR and i have a few questions.

Whats the advantages of going small turbo higher boost or big turbo and lower boost?

Would the higher compression aid in spooling?

I know people boost the RR but only to about 10psi average because of the higher compression. I know alot of these honda boys around here who boost 15+psi with higher compressions builds no problem. Any input on that?

Man... I recomend you to do a search on water injetion Its a very cheap alternative and works great you do not have to worry to boost only 10-12lbs.
There are sooo many benefits with this.. do a search man.

the higher compression would help a bigger turbo.

yea ive been bouncing back and forth between nitrous and boosting, but JP ive seen the vids of that sick primera u got there! whats in that thing?!?!

boost the RR, i have had mine boosted for 3 years no problem, 8 psi on low boost 13 on high,

runs great, at 4bar JWT ecu with 370cc inj. and 300zx mafs.

I would boost it also. gt28rs would be perfect for low boost.

Depending on your goal hp I would do this

gti-r manifold with a 3 flange
t3t04e trim 50 0.63 turbine housing
alky injection
550 cc inj or 750
jwt cams
z32 maf or n62
calum or jwt ecu
GOOD fmic
3 turbo back
3 intake
apexi filter with velocy stack
nismo fpr
And the more important thing.. a good tune.

itc
etc
