If it helps the gasket seal nothing wrong with that, everyone has their own thing. It would most likely just burn up if anything.

i've had a coupler blow off with a t-bolt and beaded end

25LBS of boost blew that crap right off lol



guys i think a can of copper gasket sealer is about the same price as hairspray, soooo maybe just use that

Hair spray is great and all. But have you ever tried to REMOVE a coupler with hairspray on it? Its over kill. I run 20psi. T bolt clamps and rolled beads will hold you down. If the coupler is going to fly off then it wasnt bolted down right in the first place...

tbolts = 35psi of holding powa... tested and mother approved.

I think my friend mentioned that he ran that on non beaded pipes, so might be an overkill for beaded then hehe.

i was blowing couplers left and right and then i stole my sisters hair spray and its never blown off. but ya. that stuff is a b#tch to get off. but hey its cheap and fast. my buddies subaru has hairspray too. aquanet ftw!
