No juice to the ECU...
Figure maybe some of the boys over here can help a brother out.

So I finally wrapped up my new setup. Everything was wired up and everything tightend. I go to prime the turbo and when I turn the key the seatbelt and door ajar light came on. The car would not crank. I look over and I see a reground on the +12V wire for the MAF. I remove it and put it on the proper ground. I check the terminals and make sure the battery has a strong ground in the trunk. Connected my downpipe to the testpipe-back. I also check the starter ground and its good. I try again and the car primes and starts no problem.

After running for about 5 or 10 minutes we try to go for a test drive. My exhaust welds break from all the pressure since it was tight to make the downpipe fit. I turn off the car.

Go back 5 mins later and the battery was dead so we try to jump it. All of a sudden the problem is back. I have no idea what it could be. The usual (brake, battery, etc) dash lights when the key is turned to the on position do not turn on. When I removed the key the oil light and battery light were on but very very dim. Anyone have any suggestions? I am going to try a GTi-R ecu to see if it does the same thing tomorrow morning. Any help appreciated. TIA!

Well I found on this forum through some searches a little bit of info. I am going to reground the block and intake manifold. Apparently when you relocate the battery, you have to have block grounded to a good point on the chassis? We'll see what happens.

Did all fresh grounds and the car got power! Thank god...

Now I need to order another resistor for my #3 injector because I accidentally broke the old one. Damn radioshack didn't have any. Oh well. Pays to search.
