Thread: oil feed fitting thread size???

-Not trying to hijack the thread, but you guys seem pretty knowledgeable..

-Question: i just added factory stock "DET" turbo system to my sr20de

-after driving around the block a couple times it started smoking badly and running rough.

-lots of oil in the intercooler pipe.

- no oil restrictor, however it has a -3 AN line

-turbine has minimal shaft play

-if my turbine is bad, will thick gray smoke roll out of the exhaust ridiculously bad? defiantly burning mad oil!

Make a new thread so we can answer your questions and not clutter this up. Your issue is not really related (I know it seems like it is).

from my understanding

at the turbo is 7/16-24
at the DET block is m12x1.25mm

is this correct?


would it be fine if i have the oil restrictor at the pressure sender T and not at the turbo side of the SS braided line?
