fwd o2 induction style intake manifold
I was just wondering who would be interested in an o2 induction style intake manifold, if i could have one made for a reasonable price?

I am friends with a shop owner who is a very good fabricator and currently makes a similar intake manifold for dsm's and evo's which has showed significant gains over stock and other aftermarket intake manifolds. If i could get enough people seriously interested i could make this happen.

I have heard that o2 induction no longer will be making fwd nissan sr20 intake manifolds. So i decided to ask my friend if it would be feasble if we had enough interest to build a similar manifold.

I would like anyone that is seriously interested to post and let me know what type of manifold they need ex. ve with a 90mm tb, or det with a stock tb.

Thanks,Jon

If, if it's around $600 I would be interested.

I'm not 100% pn what head I want to use yet but I know I want to run a N1 Throttle body.

are you using yours to mock them up?

If i would see enough interest we would most likely make a highport one first, as thats what i have and would be the car for testing. He would most likely start from scratch like he did with the dsm manifolds.

I would be interested in one for the right price.

see if he wants to make some equal length turbo mani's too, we need more support and choices in the fwd sr20 world, throwing it out there.

ps. i hate that you have this on both forums, i would have posted first on this one, but i was on the other one searching lol.

Thats funny i actually talked to him about that too. Well some still cling to the old forum, so i posted on both.

The only problem i think we are going to run into is people not wanting to pay squat for a quality piece.

thats true btw, I'm "slow200sx" on the old forum... anyway, i can probably search and find on the old forum how many threads talking about custom, headers, turbo mani's, intake mani's, that just never happend cause of the pricing.

yeah, i am just trying to see how many people are actually interested. Thats most likely why o2 induction is taking a break. After only making a few manifolds or few dozen, and being a small company its prob. hard for him to justify spending the time on something that isnt a very good time on investment.

listen, i'm pulling for you brotha, mine should be done next week, i'll try to take pics, i'm busy as it is. I also ordered my turbo mani aswell, from a different source, other than protech/lovfab(even though they make good stuff)

Ok sorry i got side tracked. Yeah there are a few good exhaust manifold companies, but most make log style manifolds, i am looking to have an equal length style made. If that ends up being to pricey i can at least most likely get an o2 housing and or o2 housing downpipe combo. This is all just talk until i find out how many people would actually be interested.
