Thread: Real Men Go Side Exit

Side exit is terrible. I did a tokes setup and that was loud, plus the first thing anyone saw was that I had a side exit. Thankfully I didn't get pulled over with it on, that would have been violations out the ass. Now I went with a 3" setup with a 12" vibrant resonator and smallish vibrant muffler and it's 10 times more sleeper, sounds better, and is way quieter. Oh yea I'm not hitting the f'ing thing on every bump now.

I love the sound of my setup.

So get some sound clips all ready, you could have been getting some vid clips instead of posting that

It mustve been on an NA car or something then that you did the Tokes exhaust on. I HAVE a variation of the Tokes Exhaust on my car. It doesnt get any quieter! Im ALOT more quiet then guys with full 3" exhaust with a muffler and some type of small ressy. Hell honestly I havent heard a quieter 3" on any car then mine. If this is loud to you then its a lost cause trying to find a quiet exhaust for you lol.

Monie- side exit isnt a style thing...its a performance thing. Less weight then a full exhaust, More performance, for less money...

everyone is doing it i mean come on its like black roofs and red gt3's lately.be original. performance? what are you gaining 3.8 hp to not be able to hear yourself think aaannnnddd be like everyone else

All I read was...."im talking out of my ass because ive never heard a quiet side exit". This is not a Honda forum. Cats here dont rock black roofs or red gt3's. Hell honda boys round my way dont even do that. Like I said...I have a quiet side exit on my car. Id put money on it being quieter then 95% of the 3" exhaust systems on here! I can talk on my cell phone with the windows down AND the tops out and the wind is louder then my exhaust. Seriously man what are you even talking about?

TOKES SIDE EXIT ALL DAY

It's cheap. It's light. It's quiet on a boosted car. It's cool. 3.8 HP? That's a decent gain for an exhaust on a N/A.
