have any cound clips of this? we should start a sound clip posts on side exits. what you have,how big,how long,where it comes out ect

I'm going to take the pipe off sometime to apply a coating to the thermal wrapping. I need a new stud on the turbo too. We used the stock Silverado Duramax exhaust piping for it (3.5") and mandrel bent. We needed a 90*, and the rest of it was just cut, hammer and weld.

I'll have to get sound clips sometime soon, as well as video.

It's actually 10x quieter inside the cabin as compared to open 3" downpipe that exited at your feet.

making a sound clip sticky would be awesome

That's awesome. I have one kinda like caughtbycop's, but I only used it for a few weeks. It's fun, but I fear the law when it's that loud.

^ i too would fear the cops, i have a full 3'' side exit and its still LOUD. i imagine open downpipe would be much louder...but the performance differences i bet are nice

I HATE my side exhaust. I understand I have a turbo car bla bla bla.. but man, it's loud. I going to take care of that next year sometime.
