Will these turbo lines work?
I'm looking to get some nice SS lines for my turbo motor, but I'm not sure what will work. These look like they should work but I'm not sure. If anyone has tried or can let me know I'd appreciate it. I'm going to be running a GT28R on a Avenir.

It'll probably work, but looks spendy... I just went with banjos and high temp silicone on the water lines, and I had anplumbing.com (earl's) build me my oil feed, whole thing cost me $60 or something... might be worth looking into. I'm sure those are just earl's fittings, and they'll assemble the hoses and everything for free... I bet they can even make the water lines for you and you can cut out the middle man.

On a second look, are you planning on using the stock feed/drain locations for the water? If so, you'll have a hard time getting those to work, as you'll need two 90* fittings for the one that is behind the turbo, you'll never have room to get a straight fitting in there... IMHO.

Think you might be right, I think I'll need a 90 degree. Was reading on Tokes thread and seeing what he did.

You can make your own cheap or wait for a set in the classifieds. I used the CS oil distro block which has a built in restriction. Then some AN ends and ss line. Worm clamped the ends onto the chopped stock pieces.

Yeah, mine used to be like that... now they are clamped onto some ATP banjo fittings, just cuz they have a little barb on them, but yeah, the stock ones cut off work as great fittings. I actually put a little bit of rtv on the outside of the stock tube to act as a sealer, just for double sure.

exactly what I did. I just stuck with barbs and used the ATP turbo banjo fittings. I think it'll turn out pretty clean, but yeah, SS braided line would look sick.

I jumped on these last night;

Should work much better.

yeah exactly what i used. Just wondering if these will bolt up as like the rwd and fwd have the same ports oil and coolant in the same spot. If so it will work but I will need a 90 Degree for that one coolant passage

I'm taking a chance with these and ordering a 90 degree to replace the straight one
