Why do that, when you can buy a FWD DET cast manifold for anywhere from $75 to $100?

And then what? stuck with a T2 turbo flange? having to end up buying a $1300 turbo to get over a certain HP..

WELL worth it IMO.
I just so happen to have a Log manifold..

Yet he never really specified what his intentions are with his build.

He may have suggested what he wanted in another thread, but I'm not running around looking for it

Anyhow, there's nothing wrong with a T2 flanged build, especially if you're not wanting neck breaking 400whp and up.

No, there isn't a damn thing wrong with a T2 turbo. I still have a T28 on my car and it feels real good. Anything over 400hp just mean you will be building your motor more often.

Hell, if he can wait until I get back from Iraq, I'll sell him my T25 setup

t2 flange is very efficent for our motors. i would only go with a larger t3 frame if i didnt already have alot of parts that are fabribated and configured for my .86 gt2871r..which again i feel is efficent for me.

If its a stock RWD manifold....its cast, good luck finding somoene to weld cast. On top of that, you can't use the elbow from a RWD nor can you use the DP.

^x2 None of the will work. Just find a bluebird setup in the classifieds it will be a whole lot easier trust me. I tried doing what you are going to attempt and just gave up from the headaches.
