This thread is probably not the best place for me to post any more info, as I really don't have any more insight on the topic of discussion. I'll be posting about my specific intercooler installation in my project thread in my signature. Keep an eye out for updates there instead.

This thread really is meant for those with A/C, but it's gotten a bit off topic mostly due to me and I don't want to make it worse than I already have.

Edit: I've gone back and re-read the thread and I guess it's not A/C specific. Still, the original question about which intercooler to run has pretty much been put to bed. No need for me to clutter this thread up with charge pipe routes. Watch my build thread for those updates.

I didn't even check the original thread topic, but it just seemed to apply my future plans. I'll subscribe to your build thread for more info on this install.

I installed the large ebay one yesterday on my nx. I got it cheap or i would have went with the one that will fit between the headlights. I dont have a/c or a bumper support, but i am working on making that fit. I will post some pics up, tomorrow.

I will post the pics of the intercooler setup w/ ac.
I will retake the pics since it was night time when I did so.
The car does not have ac but it can support ac.

When we say AC we mean with the AC condenser in the car and it is in the car.

Running intercooler piping with a car that has AC is not harder than running intercooler piping without AC for me.

This intercooler will be 12 x 20 x 3.

I am happy that Donshou is going to post pics of the Unicorn.

Just need to find another turbo car that I have done with the Lock Ness Monster fit between the AC condensor and bumper suport.

Then we will have a hat trick - trifesta.

Hey Dre, I know you posted a picture of an intercooler installed in another thread (maybe you've removed it?). Was that relevant to this thread? Would you post it here if it was? From what I remember from the picture and your excitement about it, it must have been a 3" intercooler installed in a B13 SE-R between the A/C condenser and the bumper support.
If this is true, I can only assume my car has been in some front-end collision I was unaware of that bowed my bumper support in or something else out of the ordinary. That's the only way I can explain my measurements not meshing with your observations.

The truth is I lied and did not want to admit it. Now you know. I am sorry.
