With the A/C condenser out of the way there is plenty of room in between the radiator and the bumper support for a 3" thick intercooler. One that's 9" high will fit almost perfectly I'd imagine. One that's 12" high will need the lower hood latch support removed/replaced from what I can tell.

So basically what you just told me is that with a bigger intercooler itll take aproximately .015 second to fill that area. I dont know about you but .1 second in the quarter mile could be the difference between an 11 sec run or a 12.00 run!

I kid! Thats some good info there. My intercooler alredy takes up my whole fron pretty much though so I cant really go bigger unless I take out my bumper support which is a no!

Hybrid-with my Johnny RC I didnt have to cut a thing. I didnt even have to drill a thing on the car! It mounted up to OEM spots on the NX. It was almost like the intercooler was made for the car. It was wierd. All I had to do was shave the spoiler. I dont know about SE-R's though.

I still have the a/c, so I will have to look at what dimensions will work.

I didn't cut anything on my jrc either, except some of the lower inside part of the bumper. what height jrc to you have?

Uhhh... Maybe you're looking for one that's 1.5" thick? Not sure eBay's going to be of much help there... Oh god... Time to cut some bumper support? :o

It mounts behind the support.

You remove the hood latch support and make the intercooler part of the hood latch suport. to long explain.

You do not need to cut the bumper suport to run a 3 inch thick intercooler.

Hybrid- I honestly cant remember. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v517/johnnywangwang/003-2.jpg that the picture of it though. 2.5" inlets and I think it was 2.5"s thick. It mounts directly under the bumper support and it bolts to the bumper support.

Mike, when i had my JRC on there, I had the exact same one as you, and didn't have to change anything, but drilled a couple of long bolts down thru the support to hang the IC on. I sold the JRC and picked up a Precision 350hp IC, which I hear is actually good for plenty more than that, but it's a much thicker core and a little bit shorter, maybe 3" overall, but never had them both to compare... anyway, I'm a big fan of the precision coolers due to the high density of fins. I've never seen an ebay cooler to compare, but I know that the JRC had waaaaay less fin density, which essentially means less cooling ability.
