Camber plates to compensate for the more aggressive tire angle of a lowered vehicle? My traction improved greatly with my current setup...

I was reading some CarBibles.com yesterday and came across something interesting which is going to fully justify my 205 vs 225 decision.

Go here and scroll down to "Fat or thin? The question of contact patches and grip." section

Especially here where there are no city drainage plans, so water just collects in heavy rain I've already had the pleasure of rain/snow driving in the northeast, and it's GREAT compared to driving in the same weather here in the west.

I'm thinking I may just go RT-615. It'll have to wait until the car gets to CT, though.

Are there any Discount Tire's in the tri-state area?

ive always ordered my tires from edgeracing.com . they seem to have very competative prices.

Strat -

The only problem with them, is that my CC info was stolen from their server in the past. I refuse to do any business with them, anymore. Aside from that, I don't think they carry either tire I'm looking for, anyway.

I'll just have to order them and have them shipped, pending how much play money I have after getting the car shipped on Thursday.

I've been looking at 195/60/15 tires and they are looking very appealing because they cost $59 a tire instead of $77 for 195/55/15 hehe.

Would a taller tire be bad?

I had 195/60/15's before I got my 205/50/15's. I thought that was the factory size until it came time to replace them. LOL.

My fender gap increased a little bit when I went to 205/50/15. Need to do something about that soon.

That's what I have on as my winter wheels. I think there fine and ride very smooth over bumps. Great for the dragstrip also. I paid $39.00 each for these kuhmo's like 5 years ago. To answers your question no they won't be bad.
