I've said it before and I'll say it again....

BUYER BEWARE EDGE RACING.

If you want your credit card information floating around the internet, go ahead and buy from them online.

Otherwise, I HIGHLY suggest you call them and make the purchase over the phone, or get one of those free check cards and load it with money (the card shouldn't be tied to your accounts for any reason)

Now onto actual prices, these are for Falken Ziex 912's or the cheapest available in that size. All tires are for Stock SE-R rims at 195/55/15.

195/55/15 - $72 - BASE - Link

225/50/15 - $69 - 1.8% Too Slow (At 60mph - Actual Speed is 61.1mph) - Link
215/55/15 - Not Found - 3.7% Too Slow (At 60mph - Actual Speed is 62.2mph)
215/50/15 - $90 - 0.1% Too Slow (At 60mph - Actual Speed is 60.1mph) - Link
205/55/15 - $77 - 1.8% Too Slow (At 60mph - Actual Speed is 61.1mph) - Link
205/50/15 - $62 - 1.6% Too Fast (At 60mph - Actual Speed is 59.0mph) - Link

Looks like the 225/50/15 is the best bang for the buck....

Are you serious? You live in VA. What's with the all seasons? Granted, I think the Falken Ziex 912s are commendable all season tires, but you just went boosted. Time for a serious tire. =]

I guess if you can't afford $99 a tire though, you've got to go with the cheaper all-season.

Haha yeah yeah I know, we don't get that much snow, but when it snows it can be pretty bad, especially if I'm driving my car to Snowshoe

BTW I live in the mountains of VA, a Ski resort is only 15 miles away

With my old T25 setup, I used to have on the front a set of GT-Radial 215/40/ZR16, worked perfectly and had lots of traction. Now with the VET at 10psi 1st gear is hopeless and 2nd gear just useless, bouncing off the rev limiter as soon as I smash the gas.

Just bought a set of Advan A048 225/45/16 on the front, and the VET is back under control in 2nd gear , lots of traction, 1st gear is still hopeless though... boost is right now at 10psi, I just hope it stays like that when I up the boost.

Bagato, you should look into a progressive boost controller. Boost by rpm/throttle position or boost by gear would be your answer.

Do you have any details and pics of your set up?
