from t25 to t28
got a steal price on a t28... just wondering if its just a unbolt t25 bolt up t28 kinda mod?

Depending on where the turbo was from you might have to reclock it. Sometimes when you do that, the wastegate actuator won't line up either.

Most of the times you can use your old wastegate actuator.

if you have anything but a GTi-R manifold, you have to grind the block for it to fit. If thats the case PM me and I can give you some real good pics on where and how much to grind. The wastegate may not fit either, I just did this swap on an avenir manifold but I used an external gate too. You'll enjoy the T28 alot

With the T28 you may have to grind the block just a TINY TINY bit. But it will most likely take 10 minutes to get done.

Will you have to grind on a U13 manifold? Does anyone know?

Suposedly the Bluebird Manny puts the turbo closest to the block. The Avenir puts it farther out and the GTi-R puts it the furthest from the block. With teh U13 it may be the same as the Avenirs since the turbo faces down on both...

i will try just swapping it first to see if it fits, if not i will just shave the block.


-would i be able to use factory lines?
