eBay has stuff but I miss Hotshot man. Those parts are like hens teeth, but hey there's a billion SSAC headers out there.

sniper , nice set up , any fans tho ?

Also I think the Hotshot piping set up is one of the best designs for the b14 , it alllows you to keep everything . I dont have one but allways liked the candy cane pipe.

My set up on my B14 i use a HKS intercooler with my piping that was made for it .ran thru the side and under the car. , I retained my fogs and had AC till my compressor got shot.

cant really see my Blitz BOV cause its aiming straight at the camera like a gun

the last pic is a reverse T3 setup i ran years ago,

I have the HS kit. But Im getting rid of it since I need bigger piping.

Tekkie it looks like your piping is going to absorb a lot of heat from the manifold diminishing the effectiveness of your intercooler. I would have clocked the turbo down.

I have a 12 in slim fan for it. Its a custom made 2.5 in thick griffin rad

Here's my argument for an intercooler set-up......Hotshot had a decent kit. I had one of them years ago. And I completely disliked the "candy-cane" pipe. It was annoying to me IMO. People on both forums love talking about another kit being produced. But that hotshot kit was nearly a grand with I/C core, and price seems to be an issue with the wonderfully cheap nissan crowd. If another kit was to be produced it would be nearly that price again. My advice is two find a good fab shop and have a set-up custom tailored for you. You will spend nearly the same amount, but will completely fit your needs. What if you change turbos? Well you have to change at least your hotside piping...most of the time. New ex mani? change pipes. New intake mani? change piping. These are normal usually unless your keeping the same flanged turbo with same outlet, inlet, and turbine housing, ect....

Im just giving my opinion. I would take a custom set-up over any produced kit. And the other fact that us FWD nissan guys really don't have to many options anyways, we seem to be the forgotten in the mass produced tuning world.

Well, I'm not a fabricator. I told them what I wanted what size of piping I wanted, and they went to town.

I personally don't care much about looks of the engine bay. It's not a show car. Exterior cleanness looks just fine, not overdone.

But as you said, to each his own

The manifold is coated so it won't be that big of deal since the air coming out of the turbo is heated as well. His Intercooler from what I remember has a lot of surface area.

A TON of surface area.

I agree that the hot side piping is too close to the manifold, and I plan on wrapping it. Just didn't have time before I left to NJ.

Hell, the whole engine bay is SUPER hot, compared to what I'm used to. So hot, in fact, that my CF hood is too damn hot to the touch after driving to work in the morning.
