Swiss, nice attention to detail.

I like really like Swiss's route for the pipe hot side.

To make it even better and to make the IDEAL Avenir setup, I would pick up an L bend and an ebay flange and use a U-bend around the rad. Then use a top to bottom feed IC ( where the fins go up and down) the hot side would be the high endtank and the air would leave the low endtank on the passenger side. I would try to route it out around the rad just like the hotside with a L bend. Maybe trim some sheet metal if necessary. Then use a straight bit of pipe up to another L bend then have it go to the TB.

For the intake pipe skip all the bends and welding and just cut the pipe by the compressor at an angle for a totally straight bit of pipe, to the filter.

I know this would work with a highport not sure about the lowport, it might need a curve to make it to the TB

The car had AC at one point, which had a lot to do with the original design (which was courtesy of the previous owner). All of the bends in the hotside wrapped snugly around the fans when they were still pullers.

I've put some thought into how to upgrade the intercooler, without totally starting from scratch. If I were to upgrade, I'd cut a hole in the passenger side to match the driver's side and use 90* couplers directly off the intercooler, then redo the hotside:

That setup would be great, but it would only work without AC.

I do, it's chilling in the attic. I chopped off the BOV flange.

****ty pic, I know

Now to explain it...

Other than what's obvious, the hotside pipe travels thru the fender well in the location of the coolant overflow and washer resevoir. The body was shaved a bit along the seam to allow the piping to bend up and around to the intercooler. This was done to keep the fog lights. Same thing was done on the driver's side. I thought I had some close up pics online, but I guess not. I'll have to dig for them.

I <3 Swiss' setup, as always. VERY clean.

As a fabricator i really believe that you could have truly done that differently. To each his own, but just doesn't look cohesive to me.....IMO.......

So i will post some of mine
