get the cosworth headgasket, it will work great with even your stock headbolts, it outperformed all other gaskets that it was tested up against such as the cometic, greddy, tomei, and stock. So yeah i just used one and the design and quality is awesome second to the mazworx, but the cosworth is 150.00 the mazworx is 250.00 You can get them off ebay and they are in cali, i had mine in 2 days after ordering it. Very fast shipping. just get the 87mm bore 1.1mm thick and you will be just fine

Do these cars have heads that lift or why is the recommendation a metal one?
Unless going for all out power, I'd keep to a stock style one.

What's worse, burning a hole in a piston or popping a headgasket?

I say get your tuning where you want it then go metal, unless you're going for all out power and can afford to mess up on tuning, even if it's just once.

if that was the case i would def go with the cosworth, it is a hell of a piece man, look at the testing they did on it,

Just ebay search cosworth headgasket, and there was only one seller selling them, he is out of Cali, they make several sizes and thicknesses. i went with the 87mm bore 1.1mm thick on my stock bore build, the gaskets is soo nice. You will get the sealing you need from that thing, you might rethink the arp's especially if your using the old style. I would ditch them and go with new stock headbolts. They hold up way better, ive never popped a headgasket when i was boosted. Ive used cometic and cosworth and the cosworth is by far the best one.

Again just ebay it, there was only one seller, he will just ask you what size you want which you need to include when you pay for it. he is very fast at shipping, Again awesome piece for a great price

Here is the link.
