Luck with P10t Transmissions?
Hey, anyone have experience using a p10t trans on a det or vet? How long did it hold up? How quick did it break ? I'm thinking about getting one for mt vet setup. No high HP or anything (its a t25). Definitely not more than 300 at the absolute max. Probably between 250-275whp.

Thanks for the input.

It's gonna be the same power capabilities as a B13 or B14 one, just different ratio's I believe.

Depending on how you drive it at that hp it should last the life of the motor.

Get a p11 G20T tranny 00-02 and save yourself the trouble.

Leave the B13, B14 and P10 trannys for the NA guys

^^Like they grow on trees.. lol

The p10 trans should be fine. Now if you have the $750-1200 to spend on a p11 trans and you can *find one it would be a bonus.

Never seen a P10 tranny grow on a tree myself.

If he gets a P10 tranny it will break with turbo. Its not the HP that breaks it is the torque. Anyone who has had a turbo car with any of the early trannys knows they will not hold up. So you buy another one and another.

$400 x 3 = $1200 with alot of work and time wasted. Also fewer trannys for the community.

$1200 P11 tranny and it is done and over with, will not break.

I have a P11 tranny full converted to cable with my clutch braket on it to stop missed and grinding gears. $1300.

Actually I have a few of them. They grow on trees here is S FL, but the P10T ones dont.

I'm assuming he has one already or can get one cheaply.

I'm just trying to save the guy some money. I drove my Turboed 98 b14 for 50k+ miles equipped with a stock 95 lsd trans with no problems. I was boosting 10-14psi the entire time.

Now like I said if he has the $$$$ + $$$ for shipping go for the p11 trans. They are not easy to find in this area.

Dre, that tranny you speak of... Is it the P11T tranny? I've got a P11 tranny, but I'm looking for LSD...
