Boost gauge source line with no drilling
Is it possible? I want to run my autometer boost gauge in my center console, but can't find a way to run the nylon line inside the passenger compartment without drilling in the firewall.

The car is my daily, I can deal with fumes in my race car, but this car doesn't get any fumes at all and I'd like to keep it that way!

It seems like the grommets for the EFI and A/C stuff turn at weird angles preventing the line from passing through there.

Is there a magical grommet to use instead? I kinda wish I had the money to get an electrical boost gauge... Car is a 93 SE-R.

I ran mine right through the throttle cable grommet and just secured it with zipties under the dash. No fumes.

I ran mine through the main harness by the ecu.

Just use like a coat hanger and tape it on and poke it through the big grommet.

If you ran it through the fender, did you use rubber hose or nylon tubing? Or something else? I ran my amp power through the fender at the same place as the hood release I think. Is that where you guys are talking about?

Caution:

Don't feel too secure using the nylon tubing. That stuff is more susceptible to cracking. If you keep it for longevity, do yourself a favor and run rubber vacuum line. I didn't realize how many hairline cracks mine had until Erick told me about his woes with nylon line.
