Well the build has taken its first step when I went home this past weekend I pulled my new motor out of my friends crashed g20. $100 for a motor, not a bad deal.

Hey Sneaky, since you got your buddy's motor cheap why don't you buy my GT2871? I just got it back from ATP turbo with a brand new CHRA. I paid $600 to get the new cartridge, labor, exhaust housing clamp + shipping. I'll sell you for $800, and I'm just up the road from you (Lauderhill). It is in excellent condition and this turbo never seen anything over 18psi, and will include the oil and water lines. I had to get a new cartridge because the turbo got starved of oil, long story. Email me at surfpac@gmail.com if interested as I don't frequent or post here too often.

Get a HKS GT2835R. Apparently those do 440hp easy.

Also, what about a GT-K 350? I know it's T3 but should get you were you want to go no problem.

I think I may if you tell me what on what road I would be able to tell you if i know for sure.

$800 for the gt2871 is a great price but I've decided that I need to get as much power out of the motor N/A and then when I actually put the turbo on it should yield more power. So, I'm going to hold off on putting the turbo on until after the motor has been running N/A without any problems for a few weeks.
I just hope there are good gt2871's for sale when I finally buy mine.

you still will need to go external gate even with a 2871r 400whp is a lot to ask of a t2 flanged turbo and back pressure will be a issue with a internal gate. I picked up 30-40whp by going external gate with some tuning at the same boost level.

External gate is always a possibility
