Hmm this is the problem right here. Save your money and getting a bigger turbo. Everyone wants to do crazy things with the T2 sized turbos then they blow up and A) "Get out the game" B) "Go RWD or AWD" C) Go Bigger and spend the cash

In for the outcome of this and goodluck.

Correction. I have the money I'm just not willing to spend it I've put alot into this car already. I could possibly go to a t3/t4 setup it just will be a few hundred more than I planned to spend (new dp and hotside ic piping).
But like I said earlier if it happens to break 400whp great if not then I'm not going to push the thing till it explodes to achieve the power I'll just simply make the most power while still trying to stay somewhat safe, u can't be totally safe making more than 350whp or even less things just always seem to break.

^^^^ i feel ya on that, i know soo many people that run big setups even on a de motor making 350whp but i guess turbo just doesnt like me, i was running straight race gas 100 octane, 15 deg timing, bkr7e's, 18-19psi on an s15 bb t28 and i still managed to detonate slightly enough to crack a ring land on one cylinder, WHY??????? it pisses me off when i think about it, my a/f was 11.6:1 accross the board. why would this happen. no clue. but it did, thats why im taking a break from turbo until i can do a full de/ve-t hybrid build 2.1L pistons and rods. and be totally safe, but even then when i hit 400whp i will still be worried, haha thats the thing. 400whp on a 4cyl is alot no matter what you say, especially in a 2100 lb car. but i will have fun with the vvl and 75 wet shot, the sr can handle that all day long and its soo easy to tune and the torque and power is there and insane all the way to redline.

^^Haha yea thats why I was considering pistons and that just bad luck. My t25 hit 18lbs with the blown head gasket after the south fl meet last weekend and there still wasn't detonation. It was only tuned to 14psi I guess its a good tune lol.

I would not hesitate to spray on a T-28. Keep in mind they sell all the electronics needed to make the car run well as far as timing is concerned.

You didnt read the rest of my post

Dude; You do a lot of work but the fact is you consistently over-boost turbos. They just aren't up to the tasks you give them for very long.

I dont know about that S15 Turbo. But one of my t25's saw 20psi spikes pretty much daily before I sold it. I basically had the wastegate vacuum un hooked. It never smoked. Never blew oil out of the seals and never had any shaft play. I did that pretty much teh whole summer. Garrett Journal Bearing Turbos are beast's. I was actually prety shocked that I couldnt kill the turbo even with 100deg heat outside! Granted I changed the oil every 2500miles with sythetic and the good filters and I flush my coolant like every 10k miles.

As much as me and Ashton used to hype the T25. It wasnt just talk. There really is some magic to be had out of the damn near bullet proof stock T25. But it just doesnt have the top end. Sure about two years of 20psi might kill a T25. But for $100 you can just buy yourself another one. With the GTi-R T28 its proabably the same thing. But sometimes you have to say enough is enough and just get the turbo thats sized right for your WHP goals and stop trying to squeeze it out of a turbo thats not made to flow that high.

My boy dpxe made 330 WHP at 18psi on a stock GTi-R motor in his B13.
