3rd gear explosion maybe, but the fix for 5th gear pop out is well known.

Miko I don't want to run 12sec times on a DD. I just want something that will be fun to drive. A fun to drive doesn't have to be a very fast car, just quick with enough torque. My parent's car is a 1996 Maxima VQ30DE that has 190 BHP and 205 ft-lbs. The maxima is slower then my Sentra, but it is fun to driver because of the amount of torque.

Having a high HP is pointless when you usually don't go faster then 40MPH.

Oh BTW, can you for once leave my decisions alone? I appreciate the help that I've gotten from you and the parts that I've bought from you, but are you never gonna stop nagging me because I didn't buy a motor from you?!?!?!?

my 200whp det was way faster than my 170whp VE. the powerband was a lot fatter, though the VE was a huge step in torque seems like over the de.

Have fun with your ride, you will have no problem hitting your goals.

Exactly, and to get 200whp out of VE it would cost way over $2,500. But DET should be right around there, and a lot of seat pushing torque

VE does seem to have better power curve, but this is my DD not a track slut, so it would just be too expensive, because I would want a VE+T
