Maybe the Hondas should be the clones, the DETs are the darkside, and the VEs are the Jedi.

Haha thats the black hole side haha.

But going from all motor to DET is kinda like the dark side, it costs as much

Save some spare cash for a trans swap just in case it goes. Some guys are able to do fine with the stock trans, some guys kill them.

Oh yeah? Thats not good . What trans would you suggest?

The popular thing these days is the P11 or B15 trans. They can get expensive. Some people find them cheap but it's going to take a decent search.

Check into Redline Shockproof heavy. It's thicker recommended for a little bit of protection also cryo treatment is recommended but people have still broken the damn thing.

Like I said some guys have been able to keep it from nuking. ONe example Greg Perry. I don't know if he still has his 93 but that thing has been boosted for years, and from the last I knew it still was on it's original 93 transmission.

Vadim is looking for no more than 250 WHP (last I heard) so I think he's pretty safe in the transmission department. I'm keeping power output below 280 WHP for the same reason.

Yeah, I think you're choices are (relatively) low power or weak clutch to be the weak link. Lower power is probably the more fun route.

Not to mention, 'merely' 220hp or so in a B13 makes for a whole lotta fun. Over 300 is ludicrous.

I have Redline MT90 that I am currently running and planning on using it if I can haha.

I'm going to do stock boost for a while, so W11 at 7PSI, should do me about 200whp plus exhaust, pulleys, and some other small stuff.

Yep, not looking more then 250whp, it's a spin city afterwards haha.

If a stock DET makes a B13/B14 the car be about 5.6 seconds 0-60, then I think that should be fast enough

That motor is from a W11

If all you make is 250WHP from a DET a 200 WHP VE will be faster.
