Thread: Joining the Dark Side

Well guys I finally found a replacement for the Sludge Monster.

It took me a while to decide between another Low Port, DET, or VE. Since I couldn't find too many Low Ports near VA, I started thinking about just spending extra on a DET or a VE.

Since I'm a big fan of torque, I've decided against VE, especially since it would cost a fortune for just a few more HP, and sometimes at the cost of the torque.

I went the snail way, and I couldn't be more excited about getting the engine into the car.

Ha ha the darkside is the Honda camp...the DET is, I dunno, Bobba Fett.

Maybe the Hondas should be the clones, the DETs are the darkside, and the VEs are the Jedi.

Dark Side is EG hatches with DET swaps ;-). Double wishbones and our great turbo motors. Wooot.

Save some spare cash for a trans swap just in case it goes. Some guys are able to do fine with the stock trans, some guys kill them.
