Big Hp guys what type of cams are you running?
Well Since my proyect has change ( going to use a high port head now on rr bottom end) Im still undecided on what types of cam Im going to use on my hp build (600whp)
I really like the JWT C2 its my 1 choice for now.

Im going to use a TS setup with a 72lbs turbo I know for this types of builds a agressive cam its needed.
Rev limit its going to be at 8200rpm with all the suporting mods.
I know that c1 and s4 work very nice also... What I want its a nice 2500-3000 powerband since this car its only use for high speed racing.
Thanks in advance.

kelford in nz did me a custom spec set of cams for my next engine.

they will do what you want or work out what would be best, kevin is cool to deal with.

I also did a Kelfords custom cams for the RR head but its the "other motor"
Payu cheak your pm

I think the c2 its going to be the right cam for my setup.
Has anyone used this cams? I found a lot info regarding the c1 and very little about c2
here its a dyno from a rwd

mods
15lbs
hybrid gt3076r kit.
built 87mm motor
jwt c2 cams
enthalpy ecu with afc to make fine adjustments.
greddy intake manifold
all supporting mods.

Cheers.

The SR20 RWD platform have better IM available and a lot of exhaust manifolds available... BC stage 3 cams have a crazy top end with big turbos and they keep making power till at least 8500 rpms... S5 could probably work on a GT42R SR20 setup but not for a street car...

He must use cams gears with BC cams.
I going get a o2 manifold I dont know how it will compare to the greddy one but Im sure it will do the job more than fine ... exhaust manifold I allready done a equal leg etc( hope its works well). A friend its doing some tricks to the head (puppiesonacid forum nick) the BC and c2 are pretty similar you are right Payu.
For the cam timing Im going to start with +2 on intake and 0 on exhaust
What would it be your recomendation ?
Thanks.

dont you mean +2 on the exhaust, usually you want to remove overlap by either retarding the intake cam or advancing the exhaust cam or both with big cams.

i know most people with the s5's all motor usually do similar cam timing as the ve guys, by creating more overlap. Just checking
