VE-T Project Under Way :)
Ok, so after having my car up on stands for a couple of weeks, I finally started to get into it. I got the oil pans off and drilled my pilot hole for the oil return (I need to run out after work tomorrow to get the correct 5/8" bit and 1/2" NPT fitting). I started planning out my IC piping tonight as well. I think it is going to work well, but I need to take a closer look at the rad hose/AC line area. I will only be running 2.25" hot side and maybe 2.5 cold side. I will update this thread as I go along.

Anyways, here are some pics just to show what I have done and give you an idea of how I am planning my piping:

This is where I am hoping to be able to run my hot pipe. Do you think I will need to wrap it and the things around it after a little bit of massaging the lines etc.? Think it should clear the hood well enough?

This is where the washer fluid reservoir is and where I will be cutting the hole for hot side piping. I will be relocating my fluid reservoir

This is the washer fluid pump.

I will be attaching it to this uni reservoir. (Dimensions: H 5", W 6.5", D 4")

And the cold side (there was a hole already from previous owner's CAI):

And this is what I've got so far for my oil drain:

Yup. I"ll be running a gtir t28 at no more than 10 psi until I get different pistons in there. I was also going to do a fairly conservative/safe tune until then (Calum RT).

Hmmm, I don't know what they usually run, but $525 to me is not cheap . I was more than likely just going to grab some OEM pistons from something.

I'll take the old washer reservoir off your hands. Mine is cracked and I could use a newer one. Since yours is already out, might as well sell it to me.

Please don't get a big head after accomplishing your goal. I'm sure you'll succeed. No body has the balls to posts pics of their work unless the have the balls to go through with it.

I'll try what your doing in the future, and I'll be watching, hopefully we'll all learn from you.

Good luck.

I'm not quite sure what you mean here, but I think you're saying don't be stingy with info after my build is done ? I'm not like that man. If anyone wants pics, info, or whatever, just let me know. I can't promise a quick response, but I sure as hell won't be keeping anything from anyone on purpose. Knowledge is something to be shared... Or at least thats the way I look at it

*edit:
oh, and thanks
