Thread: Sulfur in Nitrous

I was wondering if the sulfur contained in automotive grade nitrous had any effect on the way the fuel mixture burns... because I was on the assumption that sulfur killed oxygen atoms...so in my head I'm thinking this would have a "watering down" effect on the way nitrous is really supposed to work...... Should the (automotive grade) work exactly the same or would the (medical grade ) create more power than the (automotive version) because it's pure ?

From what I understand they put it in there so people dont suck on the shit to get high.


You can use medical grade Nitrous on your car also.

Just did a check to back what I knew.

"Automotive-grade liquid nitrous oxide differs slightly from medical-grade nitrous oxide. A small amount of sulfur dioxide (SO2) is added to prevent substance abuse."

the sulfur does not affect performance

They add it so u can't get high on whippits
But go to any medical suppler, buy a tank, get it filled up... get high all u want.
Its pretty stupid they put that in automotive nitrousoxide imho but law makers, u know...

^Truth!!!!..... Especially the ones with heavy foots........they'd blow themselves to pieces.

unless you are a doctor, this is not true. you can't even get medical nitrogen without a prescription.
