Nitrous bottle recertification
Ok so what if your nitrous bottle is past it's 5 year prime, what is the cost to re-certify the bottle for reuse?

Take the bottle to your local fire dept. It will cost about $25 to get it recertified and will take a few hours. Your drop the bottle off and come back for it usually.

..... do they place some sort of stamp on the bottle or receive some sort of certificate after it's done?

Called up the direct source where the local stations take their extinguishers to get certified /tested and they will not even touch it. I'm going to call up a few places that fill gases for local plumbers and businesses and see if I have more luck with them.

Found a place out in NH that does it. They charged $28 a bottle. There was also a place out in New Bedford Ma that does it for $19 a bottle but they were closed today.
