Thread: Nitrous noob ???

Never tried the juice before so I have a couple questions. I purcheased a 100 shot direct port Nitrous setup: http://www.sr20-forum.com/forced-induction/56373-direct-port-nitrous.html

This will be in my P10 with a LP DE that has a DPR ported head.

- Will the S4HL's I am currently running be Nitrous friendly?

- I recently replaced my fuel pump with a Walbro 190, will this be enough?

When I replaced my fuel pump, the nitrous was not in the picture. So I didn't anticipate ever needing more than a 190 for a bolted on DE.

Everything should be fine. I ran the 190 in my car for several years, but picked up a 255hp last year just in case lol.

That's a sweet kit. I was looking to buy it myself, but couldn't scrounge enough money together at the time. Good luck, with the progressive controller and direct port wet shot, you should be trouble free.

Your set up will work just fine. I hope you have a wideband and some bkr7e spark plugs. Also be careful when calibrating the prog controller if it controls the % of shot by seconds, shit can get tricky there.

Also you might want to work your way up to a 100 shot if your not familiar with nitrous at all.

Will the 7e plugs be ok for the 90% of the time I'm not hitting the bottle?

yah you will be fine....i drive around on my 7's that already had a bottle through them all the time.
