If you want to find out yourself be prepared to get a new motor and ramp up the shot until the rod bends. I don't think anyone has done anything higher than a 125shot all at once in a VE. Progressive or a second stage is much safer once you get into the higher shots because there is less shock on the rods.

Just go with a 100shot at 4000RPM and add a second shot (35-100 shot) via a second stage with a window switch as a safety mechanism and using push button activation. You can also start at a 100shot at 4000RPM and ramp up the shot with a progressive controller. These options are much safer than just upping the shot to lets say 150off the line.

Plenty of people have gone higher than a 125shot all at once.

Would not be ideal for anything more on a single fogger.
