Do Nos Cars run like shit while off the spray?
or is just a mental thing realizing your car isnt as powerful as it is on the shot?
Looking @ a 75-100 shot on the ve and wondering if ima have to do something like carry two ecu's or sets of chips and run two different tunes? planning on going with bigger injectors and fuel pump to support it on spray....

Just do a walbro and your good. A wet kit will compensate for the fuel. I did 75 shot no problems for a while. Just retarded the timing a little. It will feel a little weaker if you keep the timing down. You can get an msd unit to retard the timing for you when you activate the nitrous and play it safe. Just gotta worry about colder plugs and your good.

You can go with a msd with a retard box or get an ecu with switchable maps(cheaper&easier). BTW you can run zex plugs, they are all around ood plug.

Exactly what he said ^

Get an msd digital 6. Then you can run your na tune, and have your nos activation switch wired to the digital 6, then it will pull the right amount of timing whenever you are spraying...

If you do it right, it should run just as well on spray as it does off, with the exception that the exhaust is always a compromise between being optimized for the exhaust volume produced with nitrous injection or without.

well most ve guys are rocking 3 inchs. so thats plenty on and the spray. the biggest difference is gonna be in the header and the chock of the collector.

stratton.

That are all good points take wakos car for example his cars on a 2gear roll couldn't catch up to me all motor because of the amount of timing that is taken away from the nitrous but Wako on a bottle is a whole different monster!!! I keep telling him to run a msd digital 6 but like he says he runs the car on the weekends and you will never see him race of the bottle
