I have seen a couple det's with stock turbos run anywhere between 10-15 lbs and between 50-100 shot and all took it like a champ. It is something that I would recommend only at the track or an important race but 12 lbs and a 75 shot should hold and make an ass load of torque. De's and det's are cheap so I am all for pushing the limits on them. It really just depends on what your point of view is on swapping out an engine if something goes wrong. On stock boost a 75 shot should be no issue at all if tuned correctly.

We have done it before. Just make sure the tune is on point. If the motor is healthy it will take it like a champ with a T25

what sort of shot wet or dry makes a difference

Yeah that is true, I was assuming a wet shot, which usually is ok. The setups that I mentioned were all on JWT tunes since there was only JWT or stand alone when this was done. There are definitely better options as far as tuning goes now but back in the day there wasn't much choice.

Stock GTiR motor in a 200SX on spray.. he ran 11.7

yeah without management i would go with a wet shot, if you have management such as aem ect that can add supplimentary fuel via the injectors when nitrous is added i would go dry , happy spraying

JWt ECU will be fine. Again just make sure the fuel ratio is on point along with proper timing adjustments. Also the shot should be wet. There are proper ways of doing this.

Ive done it for a while

cosworth hg
mazworx studs
100 shot wet
jwt ecu ( ecu had no programming for spray)

as long as you have the right jets fuck it, go for it.

I got low 12's and high 11's out of that car on slicks with like 850 bottle pressure. still had more in her
