dry shot direct port
hey guys just shooting this out there for some guidelines

I recently got a direct port (4 fogger) dry kit for my sr20ve, i wanted to spray 120shot, i've done the jet calculations already (.026) but i want to know if you guys think 550cc injectors are enough @ 3 bar pressure. I have an AFPR and can go higher

I'll be using a rpm switch to trigger the nitrous solenoid at 5k and cut by 8k
whats a safe afr to tune for and i as usual i know i'll have to pull 4-5 degrees of timing for that much nitrous

Wow, i admire how high of a shot you wanna go for your VE. thats really nice man, i have a Jap Spec DE non roller rocker on 10.1Compression and i also have a full VVL on an engine stand that i plan on converting to VET. for my DE i wanna eventually hit a 100shot. but unless you got DEpistons or aftermarket ones i dont think your vvl will hold that much of a shot? The pistons have ridges and theyre too soft for high forced induction... Well im jst trying to be of help cause i would hate for a fellow Nissan lover to be down, take care and i hope that your build goes well.

550cc inj @ 4 bars would be a bit safer imo.

What RPM do you have your cams flipping at? Thats very important when spraying a VE.

You should aim for low 11's for the AFR. 11.2 should be real good.

Make sure to run very cool copper plugs like my favorite BKR7E at a low gap 20-24.

Pull 5 deg of timing to start.

we got guys running 150shots on stock ve bottom ends

its all in the tune and they go through a bottle every 6 runs basically.

i'm running 20v cams, hi-cam @ 6k rpm, with a redline of 8.3k, i have 7 plugs already, but was not sure what to tune it for afr-wise, also how soon shoul i richen up 500rpms before or 200rpms before? i dont wanna do it same rpm as the nitrous for fear of going lean for a second

im at 67% duty cycle on a zex dry 75 shot with 500cc (or 520cc) STI injectors. the difference is i run 3 bar at the regulator but the zex box bumps fuel pressure while spraying.
