Thread: this is SOO tempting!!

i tried the whole bolted ga set up. I thought, hey, i could make it fast. then truth hit and i realized everyone on the forum was right. the ga sucks as far as power. Im collecting peices now for a ve swap. Drive a b13 with a stock ve in it, then driving a bolted ga16. Even on spray, the ga wont touch it. Save the money, i learned the hard way. i should have listened to everyone on the forum.

i wouldnt use it all the time..just every once in a while..and if/when it goes ill go VE

A GA on juice will beat a mild on VE. A GA is not an ideal platform to build on but it can be made pretty quick on nitrous or boost.

I was also trapping 80-81mph on my bottled ga, on my old ve I was trapping about76-79mph.

Dont get me wrong, when i opened the bottle on my ga, it was pretty quick, i was just saying that the ve would be a better platform to start on... i love my ga and it has never once left me stranded. I dumped a bunch of money into my ga, and am now at the point where i either drop big cash on it to break 200 whp, or just get a ve, and sell my ga and trans and all that. i guess it all depends on you hp goals and what you will use it for. The one thing about cars i hate, is that they're like crack. You mod it, and then you drive and it feels so good, so you do another mod, and it feels better. pretty soon, you dump all your cash and you still want to make it better. Idk man, I was just giving you my opinion. If you need any ga parts, I have a bunch laying around. I might even be selling myh cams soon.

What size shot are you talking about though?

Went to the track with an 80shot.

I love my ga, its just that i want more power now... I think a ve with a 75 shot would be killer.
