Meh.....every engine loves nitrous if you do it right. Its all in how you do it and if its tuned right. SR's will take a 100-150shot all day too.

So true.

I agree, but the point I had in mind is that a 100 shot is ALOT more noticeable on a SR20 than it is compared to your vette.

I love the old saying, "There isn't a motor made, that can't be sprayed."

I hate all you bitches. Fine Ill do a 75 shot since I have the jets for it and drop the timing 2 degs! Still gotta find a used window switch for cheap. Anyone have on layin round? Im looking at the Zex one so that I can do spray by gear and start off with the spray in second. I really should do it in third though since second spins so much when I shift into it. Who knows...

Hell, maybe I should consider a nice 75-100 shot on the VE then? Would make for an interesting pull.

Yes you should run at least a 75 shot to start on your ve and once you get everything straight, step it up to a hundred shot.... The car will be a whole different monster and you will romp many boosted rides with either a 75 or a 100 shot. Just make sure you have everything in order and spray away. The ve loves the juice as much as a major league baseball player

If it were me I would start with a 50 shot. No need to lower timing and then you can make sure everything is good before upping it. Swapping pills takes 5 minutes. Swapping a blown motor takes 2 days if your fast.

Are you talking about the Z06 or the ve? I guess starting with a 50 shot on the ve would work and will be quite noticeable.... If nitrous is new to the one who was talking about juicing the ve, that makes the most sense. The ve can handle a 75 or 100 shot no problem, as long as everything is in working order and done right. I think swapping engines takes no more than 8 hrs but that is a mute point, as you are 100% right that swapping pills is much easier.

That's why he suggested starting with a smaller shot. Starting out on a 100 shot with a kit that could have problems straight out of the box would be a big problem.
