Still pushing nitrous through my baby. A little 55 shot for some extra low-end torque is wayyyy too fun to give up.

Nitrous Sr20 are a totaly different animal then a Turbo SR20. Even with the t25 turbo on an SR20 and its "build boost from idle characteristics" its NOTHING like a nitrous car. Nitrous cars are fun as ****! You talk about instant Tq....this is what a nitrous car give you. Activate it and all your power is right there no matter where you are in the RPM band.

Ill be spraying a 55shot on mine with a Greddy 18g.

^ this is true but it depends on the way you build a turbo motor, with some turbos you an see boost from low rpm to redline, which is almost like instant torque ut its torque that holds through while you are in boost, insead of that instant thrust..i do agree tho nitrous is a grea power adder... but for your turbo applicatino i would look into water injection or meth injection, or even depending on your setup having a race map made with race gas, those ara few factors which give you great power without acraficing safey

Honestly I actually just want to see the gains I can get from a 50shot. Nitrous is cold and the turbo air is hot. So it should gain some nice power just from the temp drop going into the motor!

I will be running a NX wet kit 50/75 shots on my se-r I am building for the track.
I want to see how much this JDM DE I have can take.
I will be going turbo eventually(got the motor already)but that will be a while so nitrous for now!

i have a bad nos addiction if im not carefull ill use 20lbs a week sprayin dailly. my b13 turbo car has a 2 stage sys ussally a 50 shot and 110 shot on the second nozel i have found any more than 160 hp and cyl#4 is starved for fuel.

i also have a direct port fogger set up jetted for 200hp and its nuts tir spinn in 4th gear and it lifts the head streaching the head bolts os i ussally only use it in 4th gar a the top end of the track

yeah nitrous is a totally different ballgame, reason why most people with say a 75 shot are running better times than people with a T25 setup is because fact nitrous is adding the same amount of power all the way through the powerband no matter where you are. Turbo's like the t25 that fall off power above 6k is what im talking about in reference. You dont get that loss with nitrous, your power will peak way way above turbo.

I put a 75 shot wet kit on my brothers bolt on svt focus and it was a whole different car, with the heavy 18" wheels he had on there he couldnt hardly spin the tires in first gear then with the 75 shot it was burning the tires in 1st and most of 2nd gear. Pulled pretty good. Then he went and got stupid and mis shifted 2nd with the throttle on the floor. those cars cut spark and fuel when the rev limiter is hit. so basicly all the motor was pounding off of was the full nitrous and bit of fuel through the jet that piled into the 3rd and 4th cylinder. Melted the exh valves on #4 and burnt the valves on #3, blew the #3 and 4 ring lands. Thats what happens when you do something like that, there is a little more precaution necessary when running it. Like do not hit the rev limiter while spraying. Not a good thing.
