ive heard a bit about running bigger wire to the pump. can someone elaborate for me please?

run a big wire to the pump, then a relay, and hook the stock wire to the relay?

Lol yeah you can run a relay to the stock pump wiring, which you need to use a bigger wire when using relays anyway, and it will boost the psi a little.

i think i asked that wrong.

do you run a large wire straight from the battery to the relay then more large wire from relay to pump, then use the stock wire to turn on the relay when you start the car?

Look around on the net for simple relay wiring diagram. All you have to do is run a good size power wire to the relay, and have a good size ground for it. Then run your stock wiring to it. It's also best to mount it as close to the pump as possible.
