Thread: On/Off RPMs????

Well I have an MSD to control my flow of nitrous. I'm curious when you guys are cutting on and shutting off the nitrous. I was thinking on at 4k and off around 7200(all this will be in conjunction with a wot switch). I'm asking because I need to buy the MSD pills. And the set up is on a full bolt on DE.

Wed need to know what shot your running to tell you an answer. With a 50shot you can spray off of idle. I used to do it all the time and loved it. Once you start going over a 50shot then you need to up the revs before spraying. I sprayed my 50shot with no window switch and it worked just fine. You just have to know how to shift and have something that only kicks in at WOT (Zex for me)

75 shot would be about 3k
100 shot would be about 3500-4k
150shot would be about 4500

Since I'm new to spray ill be starting with a little 35shot and work my way up to at 75shot. My redline is at 7500 so ill be stopping the nitrous at 7200

Just start with a 50shot....Nitrous is more of a Bottom end Tq adder then a top end power thing. So youll be able to hanlde the 50 right out of the gate.
