Thread: Launch control + nitrous...

Thats actually a perfect idea. I'm pretty slow for not thinking of that, lol. I figure my clutch is about half way in when I am preloading at the line anyway so one I let out that clutch and stomp on it, I could have the power and perfect launch like I need.

A digital 6 and a MSD window switch came make this all happen.

The Digital 6 has the timing retard function as well as a two step.

I actually regret selling my 6AL-2 I had when I was boosted. I was not sure though if I was using the 2-step, it would deactivate the nitrous. I figure the best way to go about it is like so:

-WOT by clutch arm so when fully engage nitrous is spraying
-MSD 6AL-2 with built in 2-step at the line

Seems to make sense, no? I definately gotta get on that Rob. That seems to be the best way to rock out all motor and then have the timing retard when I use the nitrous.

i would have 2 wot switches, one on the clutch one on the gas pedal, then an rpm switch.. so that it has to be at or above a certain rpm, clutch fully engauged an at WOT

Seems like you guys are making this harder than what it really is. There are tons of kick ass options.

What about a MSD Digital SCi plus? I've never heard anyone talk about it on here, except mine I'm trying to sell.
