Thread: whats the biggest shot i can put on a stock DE

i have a stock DE block and head and i'm wanting to put a shot of nos on it but don't wanna blow the pistons. so what's a could shot to go with? 50 shot is what i was lookin into but wondering if a 75 would be ok. i'm not going to be using it all the time, just wanna little edge when i race my buddy's Syclone. he runs a 14.0 in the 1/4. thanks for the info in advance.

I have seen people do a progressive 150 shot on a stock block for a while. To answer your question, a 75 shot is very safe and could be used quite often on a stock block. Just make sure you read Shawn's links.
