I will also be going direct port as well. Go hard or go home 2K10.

Ok what's 100x4?

Do you really think a 400 shot is a good idea on a 120 cubic inch motor? You COULD do it, but I suggest you build the **** out of the motor and only spray at very high rpms lol.

I was just a little confused on how the whole direct port nitrous thing worked. So what's the best way to run it with the braided lines or with the hard lines? I am looking for the least maitainence route.

I would run braided lines since they are easier to run. But braided lines are a little more expensive. A forum member on here has a dp kit with braided lines which I like, s/n on her is qwkser iirc.

Yeah and he's selling the kit right now.

I HAD hard lines on mine, which I just took off and I'm redoing it with braided. Line length is important when it comes to direct port setups and it's a LOT easier to get right with braided lines opposed to hard lines.

Line length is important huh,...is there anything more that I need to know before I try this as well? Will I go through a bottle alot more faster or will I use the nitrous more efficiently with the direct port setup.

NO. Should be the same according to what I was told. I do have a question about location tap the nozzles on a high port though. Would it be better to mount the nozzles closer or farther from the injectors? In a way I think it would be better to mount them closer. Then again I think it would be better to mount them farther so the nitrous and gas mix properly. Which do you guys recommend?

On a highport you really need to mount them as close to the head as possible or the gas COULD actually fall back down into the intake plenum and possible cause a backfire.

I think it's best to have them as close as possible and pointing straight into the head.

The closer the N20 is injected, the harder the nitrous will feel initially.(100 shot single fogger in the intake will not hit as hard as a 100 shot direct port dry or wet) I mean the actual feel of it not HP or TQ wise. The lines to the runners should most definatly be as even as possible especially if your running a wet system. Fuel @ 43psi travels slower compared to N2O @ 1000psi.

I'm going to be spraying 14in away from the injectors directly down the center of the velocity stacks. This should be enough distance to cool the entire intake manifold, considering I am only using the upper part. Which is what im after.

UpDate:
I have the velocity stacks, and the plenum, and the throttle body flange plate and all the lines. Im definatly going to be getting this done while im on XMas break. So expect lots of photos and maybe a video of the plenum complete with in the next week or 2. Sorry Its taking so long, im super busy cramming for finals.
