Thread: 75shot test

Ao after running a 55shot last year (wet) i thought i go to a bigger 75 shot(wet). So i did little test on the road, just a little one, and found that wow there is way to much fuel. i have a wideband and it was reading 10.7, so i got on the apexi vsf and reduce some fuel by -16 and then went for a nother run, and it was 11.7 and car really didnt pull hard till about 6k. So today a bunch of friends and i are going to cayuga and i am going to try to reduce more fuel and bring it back to at least 12.5 - 12.7 that range there. Ohh 1st and 2nd are use less..... lol


Last year ran a 14.4 on 55 this year i dont think i will break that. Just to much fuel.... lol

Sounds like you should get a smaller fuel jet.

i just used the apexi and i raised it to 12.7 all day, i ran a 14.152 @ 102mph, 60ft 2.6s, i had nasty traction issues, spun right threw 2nd, i know i could have been in the 13s if i had tires.... or more power lol,

10lb bottle with 75 shot lasted me 19 runs..... so much fun

Yeah with the torque added from nitrous you pretty much have to use slicks. Pick up a set and your fun level will double lol.

`ya i know.... but i am worried about breaking shafts and then i am stuck there and tow would be huge 150km

you have the mph, all you need is the traction to be in the low 13's. last time I was at the track, I ran a 13.323@102.45 with a 1.89 60ft. Slipping the clutch off the line cuz the MT's grab so hard lol. Traction is everything!!! lol

i know that the thing it pulls hard when i have traction.... lol yes traction is key. but we see money it tight right now and have to save for other things lol....(turbo)shhh

I hate reading nitrous story!!! Cause I know nitrous brings a huge smile to anyone ... I had nitrous on my swift and lived it ... I'm going turbo very soon (hopefully) now ur making me think of nitrous ... It's easier and fun!!!
