How do you retard timing when NOS engages
I would like to know of a way in which, when running NOS, whenever the nitrous is armed but has not yet began spraying; the system is on/armed, the bottle is open and ready but is just waiting on the throttle switch and the window switch - (only sprays above 3000 rpm). The timing on the engine is automatically retarded a couple degrees.

So I want my system to work like this. As soon as the NOS is armed using the toggle switch, a "device" pulls ignition timing, then once the throttle switch is engaged and the I am above 3000 rpm, the Nitrous sparys. Wat can I use to manipulate the timing like this so that it automatically retards when the NOS is armed?

Can this function be programmed through my ECU or what other means.

Turbo dodge guys make DIY ignition retard/advance modules with a couple dollars worth of stuff from radio shack. You could do something like that. I just couldn't find the link I was looking for. Then there's stuff like this: Programmable High Energy Ignition System - Jaycar Electronics

Or you could go with a full ignition piggy back.

There are a lot of options. What are you looking to spend, and how much are you willing to do yourself?

The best damn timing retard system you can get for NOS setups is from MSD.

I would just get a MSD Digital 6 and call it a day. You get so much stuff in one that will complement the NNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

I have a Mopar 6al Ignition Box; do you know if that can work Andreas. how does the MSD 6al work in regards to retarding the timing when the system is armed.

Also, Andreas, i had sent you a personal message requesting some help with a high CR SR20DE build. Any help with that?

Please read the info on the part you have. Does it say anything about NOS timing.

Now look up MSD Digital 6
