I could out run his car while spraying with my NX with I/H/E on a stock DE with 150,000+ miles

It would cost as much for a good wet kit as a JDM sr20 to swap in...lol

I was going to ask the same question but decided to refresh the thread this guy should have been in 14's easy with that 75wet shot thats horrible.....high 15's....my foot. How much could the ga handle with a dry shot do you guys think?

The Ga has an iron block unlike the easy to break Aluminum Sr block. And neither are really easy to break if its done right. This also make the GA block good for boosting when done right. please if you do nitrous do it right with a JWT ecu that controls it properly or some direct port that distributes the nitrous evenly. dont even waste time with a dry shot!!! Nitrous is kinda like russian roulette theres a good chance something might happen. Ive been pushing 14psi on a GA for many years and no engine problems yet. And 17psi at the track with a time that smokes most SR's. Whatever you decide have fun

I have mixed feelings about that transmission issues, sunce ive had B13's since "95". Even the SR trannys have had their problems and will always have issues boosted or not. I just finished off the trans that had lasted about 60,000 miles to be the longest one ive had last with turbo, beeing it took me from Va to Ca on 2 trips that would be 4 times across the USA, and it was the trans to take my car to 12.20@114 a few years back. I have always used a lightweight flywheel and JDM GA16 trans and Stage 5 clutch's and i cant complain about too much problems. Its also in the driver and shifting technique too. Ive never had gears break either just some serious bindage and syncro issues.

U ran a GA16de on a SR20de ecu? how did you get that to work? because from my experience, a GA with an SR ecu bogs and stalls on idle. A bunch of the pins on the harness are different so some sensors cannot be connected to function correctly. I could not get a GA to run correctly on an SR ecu at all.

Why do cars always end up breaking when we loan them to someone else? This has been happening since we pushed cars along with our feet. Maybe we should even go back to doing that... there would be cleaner emissions,Noo money spent for gas...SHI% the best part....... you'd get a heck of a work out!!!
