Alternator Swap. Still no go
Yesterday I started my 200SX and brought it out of the garage. It's been sittin for a while so I ran it for a bit. About 45 mins. later I tried to start it and it wouldnt even tun over!?! Its as if I was trying to start the car without pressing the clutch but it was completely pressed. My thoughts were my bad alternator let the battery die or bad relay switch. I bought a brand new BOSCH alternator about a month ago with no clue what to do with it. Mines shot...My uncle was willing to guide me through the removal and instillation but hasnt had a chance. I'm very impatient and yesterday was very bored so I started clearing a path to the alternator. Disconnected the radiator hose and gave my garage floor an antifreeze paintjob Really didnt know what I was doing but I learn best by trial and error. Slowy worked through everything and eventually got it out! Some how perfectly installed new one..everything back to normal, battery terminals connected, turn key and....NOTHING. Got a jump, turned key and.....NOT EVEN A CLICK! have a couple of pics i'll post of the workspace....anyone have any input on this? Is it the relay switch?
thanks or reading

Could it be the starter? Sounds like you're getting enough current, assuming your battery is good. Try banging on the starter with a small hammer see if it turns over.

Check the grommet on the clutch pedal, if it fell out or broke apart, it won't push in the clutch inhibit switch.

LMAO EXACTLY WHAT SERBAN SAID!! lol my uncle and I found that out this morning...pushed the switch and it started with no problem. I just replaced that little piece of S@%# plastic thing with a very short nut and bolt. It's long enough to completely push the switch without going to far to damage it. Oh and by the way the alternator was a success..never seen my windows go so fast!!
