Looking to Buy in PLANTATION
im in the market trying to take advantage of this damm falling economy befor it bounces back,

I have allways dreamed of having my own home, as i have allways rented, Ive seen a few near peters road by the broward mall and as far west as sawgrass mills mall.

Im just confused if to get a older 50s-60s built home or a 80s-90s town home but then i need to worry about association and all that bull.

I have 5 k for a down payment saved up but i dont want to put all my NX's(eggs) in one basket

opinions?

i just read you're trying to get into plantation. what side? east/west of university? west has newer homes, but they cost a lot more.

honestly the section is from Griffin (davie) north to broward and from 441 west to pine island.

Ive been looking for a while but most of the stuff in my price range are 1950 -70s homes with small master bedrooms and

the newer stuff is in condominiums and townhomes.

here is the 3 deciding factors, Land size, Garage , or pool

3 rooms or more.

i will be happy with 2 of 3 deciding factors.

i live west of 441 just north of broward. i can tell u now that the north side of broward costs less than south. try looking around where im at : just west of 441. Like as soon as you cross over 441 going west on broward and pass the shopping complex, make a right at that 1st side street. There's a ton of foreclosures here. You should be able to find something you'll be happy with.

Just remember its a buyer's market : be patient.
